Install the Chrome extension

Download current Chrome build

1. Unzip the download.
2. Open chrome://extensions and enable Developer mode.
3. Choose Load unpacked, then select the unzipped folder.
4. Open a Google Doc or Slides file, reload it once, and place the caret in the editor.

Troubleshooting

Confirm the document is editable, place the caret in the active editor, keep the tab open, and retry after refreshing the extension. Error messages stop the run before unverified progress is counted.

Get help

Use the support channel from your beta invitation. Include the extension version, Chrome version, document type, and exact error. Never send confidential document text.
